Red Man_Color Test

Here is a color test that I did simply trying to improve upon my skills. The first is trying to go for a free form, but I still don't know what to think of it. The second gos back to my roots of the lines. I'm trying to decide which would be best to use.

The Watchmen is one of the best celebrated graphic novels of all time. Along with that it is being turned into a movie. One of my favorite characters is the first killed off in the entire comic, The Comedian. I came up with an idea to re-draw the character for a more 08 version. In the top picture you have the way the character was presented in the 1982 version along with his 09 movie counter part. After that is my concept for the present day version along with better pic I drew of him simply named "Pin", I bet you can get it. Also tattoos are obviously in replace of the gaudy super hero shoulder pads for a more sleek merc look. As well as the most loved tattoo I have seen, FOR THE PAST YEAR, "Laugh Now Cry Late". I think the words express The Comedian better than any character before. Oh and last but not least my little effort at some mixed writing tattooing. His forearm tattoo is in fact the words Life and Joke put into one word.

Paintings and Charcoal

These are all pieces that are old from when I was in high school. Still they are some of my few charcoal and painted pieces. The first is a little Wizard of Oz action taken in a anime form. The second is a project I had to do for my final for senior year of high school. The project was only 2ft by 2ft and I did it 4ft by 5ft. The last piece is one that means a lot to me. It is a painting dedicated to my brother who passed away. It is also my first painting.

Digital Imaging 1-Watering hole

The idea came from two words that I had created the idea for and the class chose, which was jungle and split. So here in the image you see me and myself. I was thinking about how you see crocodiles or hippos and how they leave there mouths open and birds or other animals sometimes just go in. So yeah thats the premise here it is..TADAAA...

This old cover has older char designs of my char War as well as was my first time using photoshop. The guy on top is My brother John aka Masterpeice. To the left is my brother Omar aka Omega aka Famine. Below him is my brother John aka Wake the bottom below my char is my brother Yarnell aka Faitt. Lower right is my brother Pete aka Ghost. Upper right is my brother Ossie aka Death seen in an earlier post of his now updated and new photoshop skilled char.

Had a quick idea for Kingdom Hearts 4. Taking the story to a brand new level. Breaking bonds and bringing it somewhere it has not been but would be so much better for.

A picture I through together of Black and White (Kuro and Shuro). The main characters from a comic/manga turned movie Tekkonkinkreet. Amazing story and animated film about the young brothers who are trying to survive day by day in treasure town.

Luke Cage-Unbreakable

A pic of one of my all time favorite characters Luke Cage. The pic is supposed to be as if he was just surrounded by a bunch of no good, racist cops. Who mistake him as the wrong man at the wrong time. They open fire on Cage without a second thought. As the smoke clears to their surprise he is perfectly fine besides some bullet scars, and a misplaced/ burnt afro. He raises his hand in a mental victory with a black power fist. He walks away and does not engage in fighting.

TMNT 2008-Raph n Casey

These are my re-vamps of some TMNT classic chars. One is my favorite and named after char Raphael and the other is Mr. Casey Jones. This is the new style I'm trying I tweaked the shell along with plenty of other elements to the turtle build and all around body structure. Also for Casey I made him more modern living in inner city NY I would think he would have closer relations to hip-hop nowadays. I also made sure to stick to his sport roots maitaining the jersey as well as the hockey bag gear. Finally ending it with a NY Yankees belt buckle that will be filled in on the color.

Here is a picture of Mutley as Death. My older brother loves Mutley a lot and his nickname is Death so yeah put 4 and 80 together.

Mario in the Real World

The title says it all, took Mario and brought him into the real world. Using wrenches to fight dino's (covered in dino life juice) also has pack for carrying all the necessities from the cape, the coon tale, to of course the bu-bombs. Also add in a busty princess that needs to be saved, a demonish dragon turtle,an shroom head with no eye brows and you have the entire cast ready to get a little grittier.

Here are a few chars for a friend of mines comic. The red character is Pain and the green is Puuk. The cartooney art style is more so for my friend. Recently he has been trying to go for a more detailed style so I whipped up the boys in my own detailed gritty style, giving them a more real world look.
